We have a well-equipped treatment room where GP's can provide a range of procedures including emergency repair of lacerations, wedge resections of ingrown toenails, implanon insertions/removals, skin cancer and other skin lesion excisions, cryotherapy (liquid nitrogen), incision and drainage, wound management and ear syringing.
You should speak with your GP regarding a particular procedure that may be performed before booking it in. There are various fees associated with procedures which cover the use of the treatment room, the materials, and the nurse assistance.
Australia has an extremely high incidence of skin cancers (one of the highest in the world). The cancer council states that 2 out of 3 Australians will be diagnosed with skin cancer by the time they are 70. Therefore, it is of the utmost importance to be aware of any skin changes in your body and to have regular skin cancer screening. Doctors can provide comprehensive skin cancer checks, specific mole checks and minor surgical management.
Comprehensive health care for older patients, and patients with Diabetes, Hypertension, and mental health including health assessments, immunisations and chronic disease management.
GPs can provide comprehensive women’s health care including, but not limited to, cervical screening, contraception advice, pre pregnancy counselling, menopause management and gynaecological concerns.
a range of men’s health services, including cancer screening, preventative medicine, screening and management of chronic disease and supporting emotional wellbeing and mental health.
GP's are passionate about mental health and skilled in providing management for these common and potentially debilitating issues. If you believe you need a mental health care plan/consultation, it is helpful to book a longer appointment to allow time to accurately assess the issues. If you feel the matter is urgent, please ask reception to put you through to one of our nurses to discuss. If it is outside of consulting hours, please call lifeline or 000.

We are able to provide access to specialist in Sydney, Melbourne,Wangaratta via Skype sessions as required. This enable our clients to consult with a specialist that would ordinarily not be able to attend appointments due to cost and inability to travel.
House calls are available to patients at their own Doctor's discretion for chronic or palliative medical management. All efforts should be made to bring the patient to the Centre because emergency and complete medical equipment required for treatment cannot be available at house calls.
